Very well eaten and very good service!

Highly recommended!! Regardless of whether it is the end of a cycling or hiking tour or after a nice day on the boat, the cozy end to the holiday island of Winningen is a must! It is advisable to make a short phone call the day before and the space by the water is reserved. Try the island gyros once. You will be enthusiastic. But the other small and large dishes are also well received and with very friendly staff. Sheep that the Season is over soon.

You can sit very comfortably outside directly on the Moselle under a vine arbor. Nice staff, no waiting times and large delicious portions! Better to reserve in advance because there is a lot of demand. Also very romantic in the evening with candlelight and fairy lights :)

A must for us

It's corona time. We came here by bike today. It is 34 ° C outside in the shade. Around 5:30 p.m. I asked when there would be warm meals. Answer 9 p.m. At 7 p.m. we go to the restaurant again. I am told that all seats outside are reserved this evening. We can sit inside. It's just stuffy inside and everything looks like the kitchen. We could have been told that more calmly. So we would have gone into town. And especially at the Corona time with such a rush like here, the store could make more sales with running goods. By the way, beer is left standing and so that it gets a pretty crown, it is reworked with a frother.

A wonderful view of the Moselle. You couldn't ask for a better location for a restaurant. However, the "quality" of the food could be improved. I think frozen gyros with ayvar from the can for 16.50 absolutely not suitable. There is still the 3rd star for the waitress, she was very helpful and friendly. Conclusion: There is more that would be desirable above all

The atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you have the luck to sit directly on the water of the Mosel ... nice, wonderful, like a small holiday. We drove there from Koblenz with the bikes, Ines with the bike, I with my eRollihandbike always on the Mosel long. A nice little tour, good food, plus two delicious large Radler. These were great mixed. All in all highly recommended.

I can not confirm previous reviews that the schnitzel floated in fat, fries were over-flavored or there are long waits. On the contrary - we were absolutely positively surprised - the schnitzel are perfectly fried, soft and delicious. The liver was also very tender. And the fact that a certain flow of food is prepared at peak times to avoid long waiting times, indicates a well-structured organization of the restaurant. The quality of the food is far above that of a camping restaurant. In addition a great location and courteous, friendly staff. I can not understand how some people here score bad reviews even though they have not eaten there yet, as it has e.g. had closed. For us it was a completely successful lunch in very nice weather with great views.
